My photography style is relaxed and unposed—I don’t use props or ask your child to say "cheese." Instead, I focus on capturing genuine smiles and playful moments as they unfold naturally. The families I work with love nontraditional photos and are open to embracing the "in the moment" vibe.
During your session, we’ll create some quality family time so I can capture authentic, candid moments that reflect the love and connection between you all. While I’ll take a few posed shots, my approach is all about spontaneity and fun. Through my images, I tell the story of your family—whether it’s the bond between a mother and her newborn, parents connecting with their children, or kids simply being kids. It’s about preserving those little moments that you’ll want to hold on to forever.

Sessions are scheduled on a first come, first served basis. I recommend booking your session 2-4 months in advance. Fees include a $150 non-refundable reservation fee to hold your session date. There is a $25+ charge for travel exceeding 25 miles outside the 48105 zip code.

I typically book about 2-4 months ahead and take my time getting to know your family. Winter months are slow, and I start to fill up my spring and summer availability as early as March. To book a fall session, mid to late summer is the best time to contact me. My sessions are on a first come, first served basis and there is a $150 booking fee to reserve a date. Sorry, I do not book last minute sessions.
Because I like to get to know my clients, I offer mini sessions only after we have already had a session together. It's just too hard to relax and have a natural session in 30 minutes. I understand the desire for some posed photos, so I do offer seasonal mini sessions to both first time and returning clients. Make sure to follow my facebook and instagram pages for updates as the spots are limited and fill up fast!
As an on-location photographer, we hope for beautiful sunny days. If it happens to rain on your outdoor session date, we can reschedule for the next mutually convenient day. Michigan weather can be forgiving so I prefer to wait until the last minute to reschedule. If we have a in-home session scheduled, I do not reschedule on rainy days unless its very dark, then we will choose another day.
No worries there, I have you covered! I offer a complimentary styling platform that will help you put together the perfect wardrobe for your family.
Approximately 3 weeks after your session, I will send you an email with a password protected link to view and download your private online gallery. After viewing & downloading your gallery, you will be able to share your images with family and friends, and print your images as you wish.
